Dr. Shikha Dhawan

 
 

Dr. Shikha has completed her PhD in Microbiology from the University of Delhi and her Post-doctorate in Biomedical Health Research from Boston, USA. Her work experience of over two decades includes expertise in national and international health research, infectious diseases (TB, HIV/AIDS, Malaria, Dengue, Chikungunya, COVID-19), translation and product development activities (vaccines, medical devices, antimicrobial resistance). She has fostered and nurtured relationships with government, development partners, donors, community-based organizations and the private sector, supporting projects funded by ICMR, DBT, NBM of GoI and also by WHO, PATH, EVI, MVI, CDC, USAID & GFATM. Currently, she is associated with SHARE India as Director Programs. She works with educational institutes as part of Unnat Bharat Abhiyan to augment development changes in rural India, improving economic activities of women Self Help Groups and Farmer Producer Organizations in developing environmentally conscious "Zero Waste Villages".
