Funmi Omisope is dedicated to providing holistic welfare to children in street situations, focusing on quality education, shelter, and healthcare, while advocating for reform-based leadership to eliminate socio-economic inequalities for sustainable growth in both public and private sectors.

With a background in Counseling Psychology from the University of Ibadan and certifications in leadership and social sector management, Funmi boasts nearly two decades of experience in nonprofit management. Her expertise lies in implementing child education and health projects, advocating for child rights, and driving sustainable development in marginalized communities.

In 2013, she founded Home and Street Kids Welfare Initiative (HSKi) to support children in street situations across Nigeria and Africa. Through HSKi, Funmi has impacted over 25,000 street children, establishing a free primary school and shelter, thanks to the dedication of 120+ staff and volunteers.

In 2021, she launched The Joseph Tribe (TJT), aiming to transform teenagers and young adults from societal outcasts to valued individuals in their careers. Through weekly therapy sessions in Juvenile Correctional homes, Funmi and her team have positively influenced and reintegrated 84 teens into society.

Funmi’s vision is to ensure every child, regardless of background, receives equal opportunities for education and development, enabling them to maximize their potential and contribute positively to global growth.
