Kathryn Savage taught accounting at Northern Arizona University for over 25 years prior to retiring in June, 2020. During part of that time, she held the positions of Associate Dean and Director of the MBA program for the College of Business. She taught summer programs to American students in Switzerland and Holland and led short graduate student programs that toured production facilities and other businesses in Mexico, Puerto Rico, and Costa Rica. She has both taught and provided consulting services focused on new venture planning, feasibility studies, and business plans. Publications include business teaching cases in the areas of commercializing technology, market size and potential, financial feasibility, and maintaining mission and vision in a family business. Prior to joining NAU, she worked in public accounting in Seattle, WA, and held faculty positions at the University of Idaho and The Pennsylvania State University.
