We believe product-based solutions can help change that.
It all started with an idea for a growing shoe. Since our founding in 2009, we’ve worked with partners and individuals around the world to distribute over 400,000 pairs of The Shoe That Grows to kids and families worldwide.
Now we’re taking what we’ve learned from developing The Shoe and coming alongside global entrepreneurs with their own innovative products. So far we’ve worked with 70 enterprises through the Because Accelerator.
We believe that in the fight against poverty, job creation is a powerful tool. Jobs promote dignity and allow families to become self-sufficient, providing for their own needs and investing in the future of successive generations.
